I'm a mom to two girls.
I live with them and Fatty in a house on hill road.
In the southern midwest.
Or the northern south, if you will.
Not in the mountains, although we used to live in Telluride.
Fatty is my husband.
Yes, I call him that.
No, he is not fat.
It's a college nickname.
I didn't give it to him - I didn't know him then.
We have a cat, too.
Her name is Scout.
She's a bit crazy.
The good crazy.
We also have a pound puppy.
Her name is Hazel.
And she follows me around the house.
Such a sweet dog, really.
I sew a lot.
How do I find the time?
I bet my house is messier than yours.
Yes, it is.
I have two sewing machines.
One is a Bernina.
The other is a Baby Lock.
I have a Baby Lock serger, too.
I take lots of photos.
Many of them aren't so hot.
I put the good ones over on Flickr.
I use a Canon EOS Rebel XT.
The only photo editing I do is cropping.
I would like to change that.
But that might require getting over my fear of Photoshop.
Hmmmm.
I have a large fabric stash and not nearly enough yarn.
I knit in the carpool line.
And at soccer and swim practices, too.
Just another way to squeeze in more craft.
Green is my favorite color.
But I like other ones, too.
Like aqua and pink and brown and even a good cherry red.
Orange is appealing to me lately, but I have never fallen for purple.
I collect the letter H and old letter E's.
Some other things too.
I procrastinate.
A lot.
I swear a lot, too.
But I keep the blog PG because my kids can read.
Peonies are my favorite flower.
I like a strong margarita and bubbly wines.
I read lots of fiction that Fatty picks out for me.
He also loads my ipod and updates my podcasts.
He's quite a guy.
And I am a very blessed girl.
